Title: I'd made a cover : a song from Barnadine.
Post by: Daniel Pompougnac on November 18, 2007, 11:21:29 AM
I'd made a cover :  it's a song from Barnadine. Very good song.
This song is called "Un homme de grâce". A tango. Barnadine is playing guitar and I sing. >

OK, now i'm trying to learn tango dance. It's true.  :)

Great song ! I have only one remark, it's to short... it needs at least another 1 minute and a half.

Daniel, as you propably know, Azell is french too, so if you need french female backing vocals, feel free to ask  8)

As usual, a beautiful song from Barnadine....and a truly enchanting arrangement. The vocals and instrumentation are first class.
I don't understand a word of it.....but I never do!  I always tend to hear vocals as 'another' instrument.
Well done.

Wow! Superb! What a great song!! Didnt I hear a previous version somewhere ? It seems I know these words...
Sounds to me as a mix of Gerard Manset and Leo Ferré. High level stuff for some french like me. There is also a bit of Claude Nougaro with the ryrhmical break.

Thanks for sharing  ;D

This is very good - although it struck me as quite a disturbing song. Very well sung and played. Thanks for sharing.

Thank's for your kind comments.
Barnadine has composed a great song and it's easy to have ideas and feeling on a so beautiful piece  ;)
