Title: HI I'm Wyatt Post by: Wyatt on April 16, 2007, 02:50:55 PM Oren told me about this board a month ago, and now that he's a mod, I thought i'd better register so I can give him a hard time. :) ..Ok, so I'm just kidding about that, but I have enjoyed his unique music, and as a SoundHunter myself, the beautiful sounds he coaxes out of his Strat.
I do audio restoration work and music is my hobby. I use: Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster. Fender Cyber Deluxe amp, Eurorack mixer, EMU-1212M soundcard, Athlon dual core 4200..I also have a Takamine acoustic guitar that fills a room up pretty well, and, if you count the Harmonica Museum, [ :) ], I have around 30 harps. I have only 2 microphones, and I relentlessly insist that they do everything I ask them to: Shure PG-58, and a Shaker Dynamic Harmonica microphone..almost forgot..I somehow ended up with a keyboard too, that I have only used once. I mostly record my Strat, direct lines out of my amp into my soundcard..I mix and master with Adobe Audition. Nothing fancy..because this is all I know how to do. :) I like a clean guitar sound that has that certain, je ne sais quoi ..well..LiquidSilver is what I decided to call it. I hadn't planned to make any business out of enjoying writing original music..I have had plenty of businesses, and the joy of creativity can so easily become overshadowed by the demands of sales, marketing, and distribution..been there, and done that to death! I do have two different CDs up on the internet..songs are free to listen..not for sale..I have had a couple dozen requests for CDs, but ironically not from any internet exposure. ..some songs from 2nd CD: http://www.motagator.net/bands/592/audio.php I do have a clue about what it takes, so thank you for all the work to provide such a nice site. Hope I can make an interesting contribution. Wyatt Title: Re: HI I'm Wyatt Post by: Oren on April 16, 2007, 03:39:33 PM Welcome, Wyatt!
I think you've now arrived at a site where the members can appreciate that creativity you bring to your craft.
