Title: Rendez-vous. Post by: magmavander on May 20, 2007, 09:59:28 PM Hi all,
a new song I'm working on. Smoooth and relaxing. Not finished, a bit repetitive but maybe this fits with the genre. This is 100% pure Buzz. Every morning I work on a beach with a fantasticaly beautiful view. All is so zen, the sea is like a mirror, there is a touch of fog at the horizon, three island one behind the other... It's a large and quite circular gulf. I like all the mornings these last weeks ;D They inspired me this song... The song is called Rendez-vous : http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=8870 Kara, this is mainly for you as you use Buzz : Drums and percs programed with 2 SGrid, pad with padsyn and Dynamite, bass with 303 Oomek, kind of wah epiano is TB4004, psychedelic organ is ZX7, high string is Infector, a MTrk + some peerchord. A lot of chorpse, a lot of halyverb, Oomek exiter, Pampurfe, stereobox, flaserbox, thetys, philty, Combo Delay, phatman + some cheapo amp. Thanks to read!! bye mag Title: Re: Rendez-vous. Post by: Northern_Fist on May 21, 2007, 02:35:58 PM Excellent! The track may become repetitive a tad, but the improv-sounding lead actually carries it all nicely. Good inspiration and good result.
Love the congas. Your use of free synths and samples is very inspiring. Title: Re: Rendez-vous. Post by: jura on May 21, 2007, 05:28:00 PM Great atmosphere.
I see this landscape you described in my imagination. Thanks! es Title: Re: Rendez-vous. Post by: Laguna Rising on May 21, 2007, 06:31:16 PM Hi Magma

Didn't feel like working on one of my own songs so I took the liberty of adding some vocals and guitars to your track. I hope you don't mind. It was fun ;D It took me about an hour to get it done so it's more or less a structured improvisation. http://www.martin-e-music.nl/mp3/magmavander-rendezvous.mp3 Title: Re: Rendez-vous. It sounds more finished now with Martin's contribution, seems he picked up the vibe well. Martin...love the rhythm guitar work...can you show me how to do that ;D Nice work both of you!!! Title: Re: Rendez-vous. Post by: kara on May 23, 2007, 03:48:31 PM Good additions to Magmas song, Martin 8)

This is very nice. A lovely relaxed groove, and the lead organ sounds great. Title: Re: Rendez-vous. Post by: magmavander on May 23, 2007, 09:00:49 PM Hi all,
Thanks a lot for all these cool feedbacks ;D Sorry to be so late, my internet connexion failed these last five days >:( Martin!! This is really so cooooool!!! What great adds, wow, I'm amazed, all is so perfect! Do you mind if I publish it at buzzmusic ? I'm speechless... Vocal and guitars are equaly superb, beautiful melodies. Your choirs makes me chill. The subtle rythmic guitar in the background adds a lot of groove. Have you kept your recordings by coincidence ;D Merci, merci, merci! Kara, the place is hyeres les palmiers, yesterday the palms in english (joke). Thanks again!! I will try to take a movie from the place that inspired me. Bye mag Title: Re: Rendez-vous. Post by: Martin E on May 23, 2007, 09:31:44 PM Glad you like it Mag.
You can publish it where ever you want. I have the recordings yes but there's not a lot you can do with the seperate tracks since I didn't know the exact bpm of the song. I imported your tune into Cubase and recorded my adds at 120bpm. I have the mixdown of course. Also thanks to everyone for their comments Title: Re: Rendez-vous. I once played a live gig in a band, outside on the parking place beside the fish auction. In the summer of course, was a lot of fun ;D |
