Title: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Mellotronaut on May 30, 2007, 05:32:36 PM I made a patch for 'Poly-Ana', played a sequence in 'Sonar', rendered it for further purposes and thought: how about doing some crazy short pieces with this file.
So i put it in 'Recycle', made a rex-file from, loaded it into 'Reason' and did this. I used two loops (bass and some beat) from CM, a prepared guitar-loop from my 'Little Red Corvette', Malstroem, some effects and a lot of modulation. It's nothing special...just fun. :o m Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: kara on May 30, 2007, 06:36:08 PM Crazy stuff :D
a lot happening in there Don't know if it is evil, Oren will decide on that ;D Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Laguna Rising on May 30, 2007, 07:06:59 PM The curse of garage mushrooms ! ;D
from Mello evil genius I always like experimental things, (and I posted someone, too). It recalls me something in beetween Gong and the Dead (the former for the synths and the letter on their improvisational side) I enjoyed it Mello ! Cheers Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Oren on May 31, 2007, 07:21:02 AM Hugely evil! :P
Monster, scary production chops. Terrifying hi-fi sound. Horrendous...in a good way. (smooth one, Chris!) Still shakey :'( Oren. Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Mellotronaut on May 31, 2007, 10:50:22 AM ;D Thanks a mighty mushi, Oren, Laguna and Kara!
My KvR-brother Zombie Queen did a vocal-enhancement yesterday: http://www.fairlyconfusing.net/audio/giant-garage-mushroom.mp3 lyrics In my old rusty garage, there is a giant mushroom It has blue spots and it's stem looks like a leg And it's cap looks like a half of an egg I like to sleep in my garage, under the giant mushroom I dream of blue cabbage in some rainbow luggage Under the giant mushroom cap, looking like a half of an egg btw.: i forgot to mention, recently i bought a very useful mangling and reslicing tool called 'Liveslice'. It's great, when you record guitar-tracks into it. You can get incredible results with it! demo-version and infos here: http://www.livelab.dk/ Have a beautiful mushi day! Chris Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Oren on May 31, 2007, 08:40:52 PM Yes!
The perfect vocal for a perfectly scary tune. Cool work, Chris. BTW, my guitar playing is already mangled and sliced enough; no software assistance required... :P Oren. Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Servetus on July 09, 2007, 08:10:41 PM Some major crazy trippiness.
o.O I like it though, especially with the vocals, heh, gives you something to focus on. The first time around I think my brain did a somersault. -Servetus Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Laguna Rising on July 10, 2007, 05:35:47 PM The first time around I think my brain did a somersault ;D Title: Re: gArage mUSHROOMS Post by: Mellotronaut on July 25, 2007, 11:26:50 AM yoopadoopa
