Title: Sage Post by: Servetus on June 18, 2007, 09:05:50 PM Eh, I wasn't going to post this one right away, I actually just 'finished' it- it could use some more work, I know, and likely will get more work- probably more percussion.
Just wanted to see what the general opinion on it was. Thanks, -Servetus Title: Re: Sage Post by: Laguna Rising on June 19, 2007, 06:51:18 PM Hi Servetus
Excellent thriller-movie intro, the part with glirtchy drums is rather empty, nice break and good melanchonic outro Keep on, it works so far. I look forward for improvement (in the central part, imo). It could use some kind of lead, but it's just my 0.02 $ Cheers Title: Re: Sage Post by: Oren on June 21, 2007, 04:10:51 AM Scary....I thought my soundcard was hooped! ;D
Very effective, dynamic, keeps the listener's attention. On your final mix, it might be more accessible for the headphone user if levels were evened out somewhat. I think that a "compressed" version of this production would have the same excellent dramatic effect. You got MY attention, Oren. About :46 seconds into it,I was hoping for keyboard chords or something to that effect-but aside from that,I'm very impressed with it. 8) Elwood Title: Re: Sage Post by: kara on August 18, 2007, 04:40:25 PM Very special, some great fx in there and it keeps moving 8)
Around 1:40 it goes a bit to off to my taste, but I'm not realy a specialist in that kind of music And just for the annecdote, I know a certain Donovan (his real name) who allways scared the hell out of me with his music :o k |
