Title: L'auberge du Phare
Post by: Daniel Pompougnac on August 03, 2007, 11:49:03 AM
It's a pop-rock song in french language composed one year ago, called "L'auberge du phare".
I know it's not a very good song, but I like it.
Frederic, a friend of mine plauys the chorus at the end of the song.
Imagine : Winter, night, wind, beach and a pub...

Lyrics :

J'aime bien, j'aime bien
Tous ces moments !
J'aime bien, j'aime bien

J'aime bien, j'aime bien
Tous ces moments !
J'aime bien, j'aime bien

.

You got that right!

This was a very good song.

I liked this a lot even though I can not speak French!  It has a great groove and the lead guitar was fantastic.

The only down side was the ending.  Rework the ending and you will have a fantastic song.

Just my thoughts - MarioD

Thank's for your words...  ;)
And it seems that the fade out isn't a good idea for some of you. Right ?

I like the fadeout..no problem.

..in the intro there is a small dip in the volume @ :05 - :06 ..that catches my ear.

Daniel,

Having grown up in French Canada, I must have heard 500 songs with this francophone pop vibe, and they were all enjoyable. You do it very well! Hot guitar playing too... :o

Oren.

Hi Daniel
I like guitars on this track very much. Very well produced an eq'd. Nice playing
Vocals are expressive and drive the mood of the song. Very dramatic effect.
Well done

Cheers

Eventually got round to listening to this one..... ;D

Truly great stuff!   Superb vocals, great guitar playing, perfect mix......another one who feels the fade-out is too short.....I felt deprived of a 'proper' ending!  ;)
Great song.....thanks for sharing.

OK, you're right, my ends of songs are too short.  :(
I must work more the fade-out, or do not have fade-out.
Thank's for your kind comments.  :)
