Our band Pumping Station Road has just up loaded a new song.

This started out as a bondfire jam with Steve on the blues harp and Bob on the acoustic guitar many years ago.  We recorded it and Mario added the electric guitar and backing tracks.

Constructive comments are welcomed.

Nice piece of work. Glad you didn't hurry it Cheesy

The only comment I would make would be the piano. It's mostly fine, but gets a bit static for a while after 1:45 if you know what I mean. Having said that, as a live jam it's waaaay better than I could ever do Cool

A live gig just as i like it  Cool Great groove, and that harp is lovely
Nice take over by the guitar

Now the piano.... well he does his job but nothing more  Wink
That's ok if he doesn't want to improvise on the song, it's his playing  Grin.
But Will is right, most key players would add a bit of there salt too Tongue

Mario,

Great jam here...definately a toe tapper! 8)It stands well as a instrumental, but I was expecting vocals to come in at some point,as it would fit so well & really round out the tune...that would really be the icing on the cake! wOO

Great performances, innovative production.

Now would everybody please just get off the piano player's back?!  wOO

Thanx all for listening, the kind words and the good comments and suggestions.

I should have been more specific in my initial message.  Bob and Steve played this jam out many times.  I recorded their acoustic guitar and blues harp in my studio. I add my electric guitar part, played my midi guitar to add the bass part and sequenced everything else. So technically this version is not a jam.

Which brings us to the piano player.  The piano part was generated in PG Music’s Band-in-a-Box.  I cut, pasted and modified it into what you hear now.  After reading your comments I now know I probably should have added a piano lead.

Thanx again for you comments and the very kind words – MarioD

Actually that's all the more remarkable. I thought the piano part was a straight live recording Shocked

Nice sound, very good levels.
Nice job MarioD

I agree it could use a little more feel in the piano, but you got that already.
Otherwise a fun tune

Glad I didn't miss this..man, you did something really special here, Mario..

Something that I particularly enjoy..

You put the harp player on stage with the rest of the band,
instead of back in the bathroom with the door closed.

Nice balance to the mix. Harp players everywhere love you, man!

Cool

This is a very nice jam song indeed.
I understand the issues with piano track, maybe just more variations will do

Cheers
