CH We’re here to meet again after 10 years
We both organised it all back then
How do we know if we still get on together
Soon we’ll discover what we’ve done, and when.
V1 The day has come, we promised we would meet
In future times, to see how we’d compete
But now I’m not sure, if this at all is wise
If my friend like me, has had to compromise.
V2 I was in love, with his girlfriend those days
Are they together, or gone their separate ways
What do I do, if they are now apart
And he thinks it was me, who ran off with her heart.
V3 I’m wondering now, if this should go ahead
Should I just telephone him up instead,
It’s been so long, I really want to know
What he has done, but maybe he won’t show.
