I'm quite new to making music, the first piece I made was ambient and my friends said it sounded like Auschwitz (however you spell that- a concentration camp, basically).

The trend of calling my music dark and scary has continued on so I figured I could post here, this piece was made almost completely at times from 10PM to 3AM, so I need to clean it a bit and add another minute of material, but it's a demo version.

6 months in buzz and this is what I've got...  Roll Eyes Undecided

EDIT: I'll just keep posting songs on this topic.

Hi Atra

Welcome!

Like the beats!!

I used to get called dark alot but now I'm more "dappeled" Wink

This track has a nice atmosphere to it. I like where it changes at the end. It would be cool to just repeat the first part after that IMO..

Delusions is my second piece, very simple, again 'dark', but it was a step up. *shrugs*

Pretty cool stuff, the mix could use some more attention maybe. The first track has some noise on it (don't know if it's intentional but I don't really like it) and the second track has some clicks on some of the sounds.

Your ideas are good so keep it up!

Hi!

Interesting tracks - and impressing after just 6 months. I like the first one - Servetus - best by far, because of the (unintentional?) noise. Gives it a mysterious, "burning" quality. The latter track is fine, but doesn't really grab my attention.

It'll be interesting to hear more from you.

Hi Servetus
I enjoyed 'Delusions' and it's an interesting track because of its experimental side.
Nice beats

Cheers

Here I am again  Roll Eyes...

Servetus, being a fan of big percussion, I'm already biased in your favour.

For my taste, Atra is the more attractive composition - dynamic mood changes that flow smoothly from one to the next, varied percussion themes, lots of air (space?), and tasteful use of synthetic sounds to weave an interesting sonic tapestry. Nice, very nice!

Well bloody hell you're a bunch of nice people. Now I feel bad for not posting anything in a long time. >.<

Heh. Well. I've got a few pieces I'm wrapping up (I get a bit ADD at times and end up with a bunch of projects at once), so I'll post within a week or two, thanks for the feed back, it's much appreciated.

Oh and about the "noise". Well, yeah, it's whitenoise. I have a strange liking for noise. *shrugs* I'm really curious how the next song is going to be received.. It's a tad bit psychotic (to quote a friend).

well itīs the first track i heard from somebody taking part in the forum, and to me thatīs a good surprise !
just one thing, i see no evil in this track... well i can see the snow distinctly of course, like in a stormy weather, and thereīs a naive/ironic wind blowing too... you know how to master white noises !
