Making an effort to quell the doldrum and get back into these contests.

Topic this month is to make a piece of music using this 'strange' scale:
C C# E F G A# B

Inspired by a comment that it may suit the Sitar I decided to get my old wreck out and wrestle  it into tune.

This has two instances of Sitar accompanied by a single Bayan Tabla (the bigger one of the pair).

This is a very impressive piece, and remarkably quick production too!

Thanks.
'Twas speedy because I spent a half hour getting the thing tuned up and as it is so susceptible to temperature change I thought I should just 'play and record' without any real structure.
Played a basic drone bed-track then went back to the start and played an impromptu melody line over it using only the notes in the designated scale. Had to break off part way through due to mistakes but picked up again for a final sweep.
Added the tabla part as another single take.
Whole thing only took another half hour so I thought I should just process the takes and get it submitted before I went off the idea.

Very impressive, especially considering the weird scale you had to use .
Equally impressive was the short time it took you to produce it.
