Hi all,

after working hard the six last months, being a "beach boy" in an Hotel club in my town 6 days a week, I am back here again. A real pleasure to find again all those great friends I have here + some new talents  Wink

I finish working the 13 october, after that I will be able to work on music seriously again.

Anyway, I have done some stuff, that could fill an album, well an album of unfinished songs, you know me  Grin

So enjoy my summer album!!

Here :

JaZZnOtEcH 02 - Cherokee Mix :
A longer mix of a short snippet. Funk/house/jazz.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9163

mag_th0ke_-_contemplate_edit_02  :
a jam based on a th0ke's snippet.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9167

You can do it - rmx 02 :
minimal funk/house.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9196

Cosmic Dancer :
Electro/acid/jazz
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9331

one rythm, one song 03 :
A snippet I have developed. I like this one a lot. House/funk.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9365

Dancing on a volcano :
Techno pop. Made in two hours, sorry...
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9418

White boats in the sunset :
Inspired again by what I see every day : sea, beach, clouds, white boats... I used here some whales laments. Ambient.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9441

White boats in the sunset - classical mix :
Same as previous but another mix. All strings are made with Buzz synths I tweaked.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9455

Mini House Jam 04 - Dubby_-_Mix :
An old snippet remixed in a Ragga/house style.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9470

Paradise :
Again, inspired by my work place. Firstly writen to test some new buzz synths and effects. Chillout/cafe del mare.
http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=9482

thohren_magali_linndrum_jam_08 :
A jam based on a th0ke's snippet, with Nephtali and Her Horren. Kind of techno/pop.

See ya!!

Welcome back Mag !  Grin
I was wondering where you ended up  Undecided
It's a pleasure you're back with a ton of music  Cool
It'll take some time to listen to all these tracks. Very good.
I'm sure it's interesting stuff as usual

Hi Magma - welcome back.

Listening to Jazznotech02 - great rhythm and the bass line is excellent. The tune develops well - I would have been quite happy if it was longer.

I'll look forward to listening to your other tunes over the coming days.  Smiley

Hi, Mag good to see you back. And you haven't exactly been idle.  Grin
This will keep us busy for a while. Checking your stuff out.

Cherokee mix is a cool techno/jazz track

So one down. And how many more to go?

Hello Mag,

I'm just discovering your music for the first time,as I am a recent addition to this forum.

I very much like your style on jazz...there is such a tremendous array of different styles out there...it's hard to keep up with it all. Shocked Smiley

JazzNoTech;

A very seductive drum track,wonderful arranging & a eloquently timed vocal sample...I give this one five stars & two thumbs up! Grin

Mag_Thoke_Contemplate Edit;

To have hi-fi pc speakers to fully enjoy a song like this is a beautiful thing....a very tranquil,transcendental little ditty. Cool

You Can Do It-rmx;

A nice club song,but a bit too redundant for my pallet...I'd like to hear a trifle more variation

Cosmic Dancer;

This song sounds like a factory song demo from a keyboard workstation-which is not a bad thing,but that it just reminds me of such a thing. Cool

White Boats In The Sunset(classical mix);

Have a tech issue with the other version,as I could not access it and this one is a very nice,relaxing piece with which to wind down to, & reflect on the day's passing-with a beer in hand. Grin

Paradise;

I got an error message with this one also.

Thohren_Magnali_Linndrum Jam;

I love the synth sounds in this one!

Cheers,

Thom(aka Elwood)

Hi magmavander, another new member here so this is the first time I’ve heard your music.

JaZZnOtEcH 02 – Great beat and rhythm! Loved the synth parts. I really liked this one.

Mag_thOke…..etc – Great intro!  Sophisticated rhythm loved it.  Great horn!  Personally I think the lead instrument should be a little more mellow as it sounded harsh to me, but I’m really nitpicking here!

You can do it – minimal funk/house it is.  Well played but to me a little redundant.

Cosmic Dancer – Great bass intro.  The drums are fantastic and the keyboard lead was also very good.  Loved this one, two thumbs up.

One rhythm, one song 03 -  Well played to again, to me, it was a little redundant.  But that I’m sure is just a difference of tastes.  Great trumpet sound and lead.  What was it sound source?  Personally I would have liked it better if the horn was in the beginning also.

Dancing on a volcano – Nice rhythms and lead work.

White boats in the sunset – SUPER, LOVED it.  I could have done without the cycling synth.  Maybe tone that down a bit?

White boats in the sunset – classical mix- SUPER, LOVED it.  I like this version much better than the above one,

Mini house Jam 04-Dubby_-_mix – Well played but not my bag.  Hey I’m an old fart what can I say.

Thohren_magali_linndrum_jam_08 – Really nice.  Loved the intro and the sound selections.

It obvious, to me at least, that you are one talented multi-genre musician.  All of your songs were well played and mixed.

Great job - MarioD

Hi, Mag.

 Finally listened to all of them. Really like MAG-tHOKE Contemplate, One rhythm, One song, White boats both versions and Paradise. Not that the others were bad. But these appealed to me most. Keep it up.

Wow! Thanks for listening all these songs!!

Your feedbacks are always so helpful. It seems that 'JaZZnOtEcH 02 - Cherokee Mix' is the biggest success  Grin
I was experimenting with this one, trying to melt jazz and techno while keeping the mood of each genre alive. It was really fun to make. Really glad you liked it!

Martin and MarioD, thanks for taking time to listen to my work and comment, I really appreciate  Cool

Ahem... I still have a new song to share   Roll Eyes
I must be crazy Tongue

kara : qu'importe le flacon pourvu qu'on ait l'ivresse  Wink
Bad translation : why care about the look of the bottle if you can get drunk.

Thanks!!

bye
