I'm old, stupid and not as crazy as I seem I don't really play instruments anymore. I mainly make noises with virtual instruments. Although my keyboard has a keyboard I only use it to plink out melody lines. I live in a truck that's currently parked in Oregon close (but not ear-deafening close) to the Pacific Ocean.
ATM I have a reliable internet connection so I thought I'd continue my quest to spend my days doing not to much, making noise and then annoying others with the results of.

Good day! Seems to me someone was asking about you here, very recently. Old and crazy works for me, and, well...stupid comes and goes on it's own schedule, doesn't it ? Face the Pacific and look to your right; that'll be me you see on Vancouver Island - look for the black fedora. Make yourself comfortable here, and serve up some of that synthetic sound for us! Oren.

Welcome back !!! It's good news (to have you back here) I hope you'll post more music - I often listen to your 'anticipating something' virtual cd and I must say is one of my favourite from the non-commercial-music folder take care Cheers

sorry, I need to learn how to use the forum mo'better (notifications and such as in RTFM-Bill!)
I've had some 'issues' with my rolling home which kept me amused for the last several days.
It goes into the shop on monday and I should be road-worthy in early December @Fred- still amazed about yer talking dog lol.

For a moment I read that as 'issues with a Rolling Stone' I wondered what problems you had with Mick Jagger

yep... my 21 year old 8.5 meter house on wheels! (2.6 meters wide on the inside) Enough room for me. It's a 1987 Fleetwood Southwind (google for pictures) I am unburdened with having to stay in one place. It's cold and wintry in Nebraska and I plan to hug the west coast of the usa for winter's duration. Currently I'm about 15 km north of California. (although I'm thinking of traveling to the deserts near the Mexico boarder come January/February) @foderol

Nice vehicule Found a good pic here : http://www.salvagedirect.com/asp/viewpic.asp?sda=148058&osnum=640417&maxpic=12&mvcnum=1&enddate=8/28/2007Travelling a couple of years with such a vehicule is actually a dream of me... must be very interesting Reducing the stuff you have to the essentials. I still would need some kind of mini-music studio in it Do you still have a homebase or is it this your home ? k

My truck is about 2.5 m shorter but is essentially the same beast. It is interesting but not always in a good way. I just discovered water getting behind a wall which means I need to check the seal around that window and the roof for any damage. But traveling is great and I get to experience things in a new way.
This is my home, but I've not been able to sell my house (which the bank owns most of) so I'm leasing it to pay the mortgage and all those other expenses that come with a house.
Divesting myself of all my stuff was a necessary hardship, but other then some food, clothes and a couple of computers the rest of what I carry is for the day to day operations of the truck (which requires alot of stuff.
I have no one but myself to please, but having another person involved might be difficult imho.
