This started off as a version posted on KVR by 'Gucky'.
It was a lovely interpretation of that traditional Scottish tune, but was done with all synthesized instruments. I offered to add a 'real' whistle to give it a more natural sound. This is the prototype mix that I have made. I am sending him my whistle line for him to mix in with his own version in his own manner. It will be interesting to see what he come up with.

Nice job. I've also just listened to Gucky's final version with your part woven into it.

The whole piece stands together very well.

I particularly like the way the whistle takes away the rigidness that his work tends to have (something I've commented on to him a few times).

I don't know his work, but your definitely right here. Well done, but a little mechanical.

The whistle is lovely, James. Works exceptionally well here.
