Wyatt,

Interesting guitar work, but it seems to be a little out of sync with the drums and quite sloppy at certain moments in this piece-which is understandable since you were just laying down an idea on the fly,so I am sure it will sound wonderful when you do some fine tuning to this piece.

Despite the shortcomings, you did a fine job trying to mesh intricate guitar work with a difficult drum track.

I look foroward to your progress on this. Smiley

Cheers,

Thom

Wyatt, this is a great concept and I believe it has a lot of potential.

That was a super job blending the guitars with the percussion.

With a little polish this will be dynamite!

You may want to give the guitars a break or two and solo the drums for a few measures here and there.  Just an idea, don’t know if it’ll work or not.

I’m looking forward to the finished product!

This piece is a whole story by itself, only congas and guitar, very interesting  Cool
I agree with other comments.
Give it a bit room in some spots and you'll have to allign some chops, but you know how to do that  Grin

Good work Wyatt !

Kara,

Thank you for listening and for your comments.

I think this one is worth putting the effort into. It is
taking me a little bit to get used to things, but I am
having fun again, finally, and that is a good sign.

More soon.

It comes over as a sort ethnic+modern jam session - very nice.

Beautifully clean mix.

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate you taking the time to listen, and for your comments.

This was a great opportunity to get used to my new DAW, (Audition 3), and take my new computer out for a spin around the block.

I am such a sucker for a chance to put congas with different styles of music. Smiley

Laguna,

WOooow!  I love what you did with it.

Great mix and the melody is interesting and holds my attention.

Yes it is a spare mix for you, but then, this is a busy drum track.  Smiley

Nice ending too.  Thanks for sharing that.
