I hope I don't offend you but I like to mix sounds and this would be fun to add to my loops for acid pro.  Diss

Since moving from the default 41,000Hz sampling rate in JACK and Ardour to 96,000Hz, Hydrogen follows along obediently by changing its sampling rate, but the drum sounds(samples?) play at a ridiculously high pitch.

No apparent remedy in sight Huh ....suggestions?

Wyatt,

I'm not clear how this thread applies to a MIDI sequence, but perhaps I'll remove the "drum kits" and then reload them from the web site with Hydrogen set up at 96,000Hz from the outset.

Thanks for caring, HarpMan (how's them pipes?)!

..a distinct possibility, lol..I never did quite get it the first time around.

..does seem that the relationship between higher sample rate and higher pitch that may make proper sense to *someone*.

As far as I am able to determine, the samples that make up the drum kits for Hydrogen are only pitched properly when the sampling rate (determined by JACK) is 44,100Hz.

I can work with this.... Grin
