Without thinking I´d answer : YES, but early september, flights to Europe are still at high season price level (equal to or even higher than the price of a Yamaha Silent Guitar)...  Huh
If I can get something fixed, I´ll be there.

Of course, I´d swim to Belgium, but then my drums could get wet...

Maybe we have a member here that owns an airplane company; that would solve the problem immediately. Wink Anybody ?...

Let´s cross our fingers, cheers

Max,

You don't have Ryan air, or other low-cost company where you live ?

I´ll be checking the internet; I´ll be working on it, don´t you worry. Wink As soon as I have something to hold on, I´ll let you know.

I had a niece working at Sabena, ´til it stopped existing...  and I´m working on a catapult-system; BTW, I´m looking for some test-persons to try out the first beta version.  I have already a life-jacket (with whistle !) and a proto-type parachute.

Cheers,

Wait a minute Moon, Rharv is allready considering the trip to Europe !
This will be an inter-continental KM gig  Cool

And I'm still hoping Oren would change his mind   Shocked ;

Just a personal thing for me, Kara, but one strategy I employ to make a smaller "environmental footprint" is to stay within walking distance of home.

But I want the rest of you rad dudes to make some serious noise and send some to me to mix down... Grin

Oren, now that´s a sentence ! "To make a smaller environmental footprint"
If those guys in Stockholm get aware of it, you might get the Nobel prize of literature !
You could even start a religion with ! Addepts immediately from all over the world !
  ...Imagine...

Boss : "Where have you been yesterday ?"
Employé : "I stayed at home ´cose I wanted "...  ..."

A wOO and cheers,

Max,
That phrase is not original to me - I read it somewhere.  Cute though, eh?

Thanks for noticing....Kiss

OK, some time has passed...

If we want to make the first live GIG a fact, someone better start to organize this. So this is what I have:

- When: 20 & 21 September
- Where: Belgium - a place called Zichem
- How to reach: If you make it to Belgium, find a railstation. The location is at walking distance from a railway station.
- Cost: KM rented a space where we can gig, sleep, eat, etc (actually, I've found a very generous sponsor !)
- Recording gear ok: 16 track studio with DAW (still need some mic's and stands)
- PA gear OK
- Synths OK: Korg M3, Virus TI & Access G2X
- Bass guitar OK
- Food: Belgian fries and chineese take away (we're doing this low budget!  Wink )

We'll also have some Belgian beer which is off coarse the best beer in the world !  Grin

What you'll need to bring:
- Camping gear (a blanket and an air matrass is enough)
- Your musical mood and laughter
- You're instrument (if possible)

Places are limited, so please let me know if you'll come.

I hope some of you will make this !

If I can make it (health problem of the wife), then I could add 1 or 2 old (but still perfect) Dynacord tape delay/reverb units as contest prize (they´re already in Belgium).  Wink

OK.

I've got this logged in my diary. I'm pretty certain I can make it. If I get the very earliest and latest Eurostar trains, that will get me to Brussels just after 10am Saturday. I would have to be back in Brussels by about 8pm on the Sunday.

The problem I then have is getting to and from Zichem without losing too much time - any ideas?
