Work in progress: this one is made without a sequencer or computer program. Just 2 keyboards, a Korg M3 with Karma patterns and a Virus KC as lead synth. Everything played live (with some errors), sampled directly to a usb stick... Not yet perfectly played, but I'm getting there... Enjoy !

Some exceptional tonal textures at work here, particularly in the last half of the composition.
EQ-wise, it's a little heavy in the upper-mid frequencies (1500--2500Hz) for my taste, but....it's only just begun, right?
Nice one, Moon!

without a sequencer or computer program. Just 2 keyboards, a Korg M3 I am a little surprised that you play the rhythm live. How many fingers do you have? I think that a Korg M3 is more a computer as an instrument. But apart from that, I like it quite well up to now. Andreas

A great start here. I really like the background pads you have going here, super.
For me a little more rhythmic and tonal variations in the leads would put it over the top.
Nice one Moon!

I really like what you have done so far. I shall watch to see how you develop this I would agree with Oren that it's a little 'top heavy'.

Thanks everybody for the comments. Andreas, indeed, "live" is a relative notion, because the M3 is indeed a complex music generator on it's own, meaning most of the music is indeed generated from the Karma engine itself (based on simple patterns of music). The artist must still found the right ingredients and combine the karma features into a whole. But that's the challenge ! I agree with Oren, that the piece needs to be mixed. Indeed even Karma has it's limitations. So the next step is to sequence the music, record the tracks seperatly and start the mixing. OK, I'll know what to do next ! As soon as I have the next version, you'll hear about it ! Moon

Hi Moon I think I'm listening to the new version 'cause I read "0 downloads -edit: ...."
Great ideas in here, nice melodies. I love these "technologic" synth sounds, they contribute to build the atmosphere very well.
Cheers

Nice tune, I like the overall tone & feel of the track. The sound quality is very good too, I like the breakbeat type of beat in the music. Would be an excellent soundtrack for an adventure video game!
(The Korg M3 is a beautiful instrument by the way! Sounds very good too!)
