I wonder if I have a problem with my MP3 player, since I can't play this one.... k I will make you an .ogg file.. Hmm..have you tried some other mp3 files? I had a weird problem the other day. For the first time, an .mp3 file had some strange out of tune distortion @ 2:40 into a song. I couldn't eliminate it by increasing the bps until I got it all the way up to 256. I can't imagine why mine would all of a sudden start messing up..nothing has changed on my system..?? Is anyone else having problems listening to the .mp3? Thanks, Wyatt |

No problems listening over here, brother. Very tasty piece of work. A little different in style for you, which is always a good thing! My major impression is that it feels like an overture....an introduction....as if there is a stronger melody that is about to be introduced in the next movement.........bring it on.  James |

I took the ogg (always will for choice). I don't know quite what to make of this it's a very curious work, quite unlike anything I've heard on here before. It's very cleverly done, but I can't make up my mind if I like it or not - I guess that seems pretty daft |

A weird composition, I mean... it recalls mysterious atmosphere and it has a suspended unresolved mood that is interesting.

Ogg Vorbis and MP3 both working here...
This puppy has a serene and uncluttered character about it. Reminiscent of Magmavander, which is good.

@James..interesting observation..I can relate..I have been having a feeling lately that things are changing and maybe this is the beginning of something new. Kind of a real-life overture. @Will..yep..this one doesn't fit into any structure I am familiar with. I understand completely. Unlike anything you've heard before..thats cool. @Laguna..yes..mysterious atmosphere..like someplace we've never been to because you can't get there from here. Yes there is unresolved emotional content here. Good call. @Oren.."Empires.." was a real inspiration for uncluttered..hadn't thought of Mag, but right on, now that you mention it. It is a fine line we walk as artists: On the one hand trying to stay up on what's being done, so as to not work entirely in a vacuum..and then on the other hand not becoming derivative. Being exposed to different styles helps keep the juices flowing. Gotta love it! I really enjoyed working with my little Yammie keyboard and the rich selection of sounds that Reason is capable of. It is changing things..no looking back now. Thanks guys for taking the time to listen and to comment. I appreciate it! Wyatt |
