This is by far,the most interesting & comprehensive video I've found,which is from MixOnline .com.
Marcelo Vercelli who is the director of engineering at Event,discusses the Event Opals & outlines in detail,the technical design aspects of this new product and even though some of the technical terms are over my head,I still managed to get some more insight into just how advanced these incredible monitors are!

Speaking of putting effort in a speaker design. Designing the Opals took 2 years of work !

I was very surprised to hear that they designed everything from scratch, even the drivers. It will be very interesting to see the first reviews on these speakers. I'm willing to bet that these turn out to be fantastic monitors!
