Live love, love life, play music.  I'm new here...hello.  I'm an old man with a lot of music in my mind that torments and entertains me night and day.  I am a vocalist / guitarist from a rock n roll band in the late 60's, but I love synth sounds and drum machines.  Currently I have too much new equipment and I'm at the beginning of the learning curve mountain, trying to have fun while I reprogram my brain to use this stuff: boss BR600, Roland Juno D, guitar, bass guitar, Zoom rt223, boss rc2 looper, etc.  Most of my questions are at the very most basic level.  I found this site while looking for some BR600 advice.  Greetings to you all.

Hello & Welcome here

You have found the right place. Don't feel old, some of us here aren't the youngest  Cheesy
Interesting, you have the same hardware multitrack recorder as I have, I love it, very good recording quality and very easy to use. What's a boss rc2 looper?

Feel free to post your post and comment songs of others  Cool
In one word enjoy yourself here, we are a nice gang

Grin Hey Toenine! Appears we have a lot in common (especially the "old" part), except I played keyboards. Welcome here!

Toenine,

I know young players who have skills far beyond their years, and old players who do it fresh every day.

Every time I get all the gear fired up and have all that binary capability at my beck and call,....I wonder about the wisdom of just stomping my boot for the beat and hollering out a righteous tune.
With Wyatt on harmonica, of course...

Don't let it all get you down...oh no,
Don't let it turn you around, and around...

Oren.

Hiya Toenine,

I'm another oldie from 60's bands.  I virtually gave up playing in about '75 but have recently come back to it. Like you I have nose-dived into the new technology and by gum it's scary stuff!!
 Shocked
Good luck and enjoy this wonderful place.

Don't worry about reminiscences....memory is the second thing to go..danged if I can remember what that first thing is, though. Grin
