Remix for a friend

Hi folks!

I have just finished a remix for a friend. He wrote an acoustic ballad and I thought it was more like a power pop song.

This is the original:

I know that the timing of the original guitars is not perfect and I guess he'll change that in the near future. Maybe you can focus on the arrangement/mix.

You where right, the original wasn't a balad in the first place.
So I wouldn't call your work a remix, I would call it more finishing a song.

You've done good work on the arranging side of things.
The mix could be a tad more clearer, those drums realy need compression, they are burried in the mix in some place.
I noticed interesting bass work

Played the acoustic version which sounds promising but not finished.

Windows media player won't play the remix version however.

Ok, new version is up. Not the final though as Volker has to rerecord the guitars and I'd like to add some vocals.
