Ooooh, that's so sweet. Reminded me of jane birkin and serge gainsbourg. Congrats to both of you (Karin sings better than you, though )

To be honnest, I have mixed feelings about this one. It sure is a sweet song but... I didn't like the 'overdone' old english fashion of singing of you. Now Karinox sings better then you, altough she has (by lack of experience I presume) a litle bit of difficulty to hold tonality in the end of long notes. This is mostly because you didn't do here a favor and didn't transpose the song in a higher key. She sings below here natural voice range, and this is causing a natural problem for here, she can't get that air out of here lungs ! I would love to hear here sing in the range of here voice Kara

Hi Nikos, you're here and not there? I'm a big Gainsbarach-fan. I like especially the songs from the end of the 60's and his soundtracks. Thanks a lot for your words!
Hi Kara, you're right, with what you're saying about Karin's voice and the key, i used. To do it together was a spontaneous decision after my guitar-recording. We just recorded the vox and had fun. I really could have manipulated things here. In Sonar, there is V-Vocal and audio-snap, but i don't want to use it. Normally, i sing till it fits and i don't use these 'helpers'. This time the two of us did two run-throughs and that was it. I wanted to have this demo-feeling for two reasons: The 3 instruments rules were leading me into this direction and ...recently i got a nasty email from my brother, where he pointed out, he'd use a professional studio now for his recordings and the quality of his music would be far better than the quality of my music now, though he had to admit, i could play much better than he can etc. ... I just wanted to show: important isn't only the quality of a studio and all the helping hands there, but the quality of a song. This song is good independent of the singers' skills or the recordings' quality. Some people like my voice, some don't; sometimes my singing is better, sometimes worse....but i sing and i like to sing. Gainsbourg couldn't sing at all (nor Birkin), but his music is great and his voice fits perfectly into his songs. If i have time, i (or we) will do a different version of the song with more instruments. I'll change the key then. Thanks a lot for your insight review!
Chris

This is a really lovely song. The first time I listened to it the singing put me off a bit, but after repeated listenings I've come to the conclusion that the demo-feel adds to the song's charm. I also liked the guitar playing.

Thank you very much, Kara, Fred and Fourth Mansions!
When we listen to it, we always think about doing an elaborate version, but then we're a bit anxious: wouldn't it lose the spontaneous impact? When i recorded the guitar, my nose was itching...i had to continue without sneezing, because it was recorded through a mic.... .

Hi Mello I'm not a singer and don't know about vocalism, so I won't comment on technics. I think the contrast of different timbres is a good thing, because the vocal melodies are similar. I like the surreal mood and the stripped down arrangements. ...To do it together was a spontaneous decision after my guitar-recording. We just recorded the vox and had fun.
