This collab is sort of indoctrination for Rui into the world of interfacing with other musicians & a few hurdles aside,Rui & I came to a resolution that we are both happy with. Cool

 Shocked
Thom,

this is quite stunning.

I did have this track set up ready to put some bass and guitar in ......  Cool  but I don't think I need to now.

I couldn't improve on this one, my friend  Roll Eyes

James,

Quite a generous compliment coming from a bass aficionado-much appreciated! Cool

A sterling example of two very capable composers/producers working together. First-class in every aspect...

O.o me likey!

most certainly wouldn't sound out of place at Cafe del Mar.  Lovely chillout ambient feel.

The synth sound at the start... sort of like a fluttering panpipe.. wouldn't be from a korg would it by any chance? Sounds  very similar to one of my favourite patches on what was my 1st "real" synth years ago, a Korg 01/W, heard it on a few korg machines since then in various forms.

Some very kind words-thanks Oren!

@Paul,

Everything apart from the piano & bass,is Rui's doing....which mainly consists of sounds from Omnisphere.I once owned a Korg 01/W myself! Cool

Sorry,everyone
I've been looking at the Ambient/Trance section where I first posted the song,not realizing that there's a section for this at the bottom and just thought that Thom had not uploaded it yet.
Thank you so much for all the kind comments on the song,it turned out great,thanks Thom.
@Paul
The sound you're referring to is from EastWest Chillout Ambient Collection,but I suspect it was taken from a Korg,maybe the M1,not sure.I used to have the Korg Triton Extreme also but got rid of it just last year.
About 5 of the other sounds you hear are from Omnisphere.
Cheers
