Just wanted to share my escapades with my compadre,my partner in crime and ultimately,my psychedelic blood brother; Robert Maguire and these are a series of photos of what we've been up to thus far......
The black & white photo,is main entrance of the Deal Test Site,as it was,in 1919.This place started out as a farm,but was purchased by Western Electric at this point in time(as it were). Deal Test Site was the home of world-changing breakthroughs in the technology of radio wave transmission,where upon radio experiments were conducted for 3 decades. During my childhood,we knew as a recreational area and this very building became the home of the local Boys Club.Currently,most of the historical buildings are now gone and has become a memorial park.

This stairwell...is home of the infamous clay pot incident...whereby I had dropped a 50 lbs clay pot on this stairway,that I had made in pottery class and left my indelible mark that can be seen to this day(notice the dark area,where the patchwork was done to fill in the missing area of that step.)

Fireman's Field,is an enormous outdoor recreational park...with something for everyone...baseball field,tennis courts and a building with a stage for live musical venues...some really wonderful memories were made here!

This was the single most gratifying trip down memory lane for both of us,as this is the only place that has not changed a bit,since we were kids!

Fascinating.
Is this someone you knew before, or someone who just happened to know the same places?
Thanks for sharing.

Robert(in the photos),is my closest childhood friend,who recently moved back to the east coast from California and is now visiting me from his new residence in Virginia(about 300 miles south of me) and we were just touring all of our old hangouts. By the way,this is the same fellow you had seen in my New York photos from a few years back.See photo below;
