Sorry, I don't have any idea of a name at all! This is my first attempt. It's very short at the moment. I don't really know where to take it. It's in 6/8 time which I find always confuses the timing. Rosegarden says it's 140BPM. Key is basically D, but the chords are my usual "move one finger, Ooo that's nice" type

I shall certainly be happy to join you on this one, Will. Sounds to be right up one of my streets. Please expand. James.

Sounds good, thus far. I guess i'll wait until more develops, before I may possibly add anything?I still have yet to come up with a tune myself...but my life is in shambles right now...so I've been having difficulty functioning in general, but I'll try to get the ball running soon.

I thought it had a distinctly folky sound right from the start, so will go with that. I'll try to get more done over the weekend. I'll probably remove, or at least change the instrument on that bass line. It doesn't sound right now.

Ok, this is taking longer than I expected I've added a second part and done some tidying up, also added a click intro. I've made this an mp3. If anyone wants the the plain wav file let me know. Also, from Thurday I'll be away for a week - this year's Linux Audio Conference

Got it. This is shaping up nicely.

OK we have a name CelebrationThere is a new file up, by this name (but in the same folder), and I think it's just about complete. However, if anyone can think of something to add, I'd be quite happy about that.
