By 'we', I wonder how many are still watching. Being a bit of an old fool I miss all those we never see here any more

This isn't the only forum suffering from lack of new interest. I follow a number and they all seem to have the same problem. I'm thinking that the only online place people give a sh*t about is facebook. So sad.

One bit of good news (on a personal level) is that my youngest niece took an interest in keyboards a few years ago and is now up to grade 5 in music theory and surpasses my playing ability - she doesn't know that yet

That is great news!

Any chance of having her record something?  Possibly with her uncle?

Interesting idea, but unfortunately not likely for the foreseeable future. She lives a long way from me and I only see her every Christmas!
P.S.
Still can't quite get over how dramatically she changes each year
