The Call

We all dread, but most of us have gotten, the call where a loved one has passed.  We are sad at first but then realize they were a good person and are going to someplace better.  That is what we were trying to capture in this song.

This is a nice piece. Thanks for sharing.

Only 2 comments I'd make about it, other than "outstanding job" are:

   - I think it was a tad too long. But, that might just be my increasingly short attentions span.

   - There was some quivering (modulation) about 3 minutes in. I suspect you were playing with a tremolo knob or pitch bend. To me, it sounded "off". Not terribly so ... but you did want comments

I was worried that it was too long. JonD liked it as is so that is how it was posted.

I'll check into the quivering.  I did not do any vibrato or tremolo in this song.  All articulations other than volume are embedded in the samples that I used.

Could have been a slightly off tuning issue ... you know, when 2 strings/voices are slightly off they warble on the same note. Or (could it be true!) it might just be my ears
