I'm officially an old fart(well...not really)...will be in 3 years,but I did recently require an old-fart-cart(electric scooter)...to haul my crippled ass around town.
My disability insurance would not cover it,so I had to pay out of pocket.  Roll Eyes

The scooter is only covered for indoor use( & yet,it has a 15-mile battery in it.) There was a time I've been told,that these scooters were covered by insurance freely...but some folk decided to take advantage of this,by turning around & selling the scooters(hence the restrictions now.)
