Echo Canyon, also called Lover's Leap, has a rich history. It is believed that on every full moon the souls of those whom leaped to their death will circle around the canyon. If a brave person will sit on the canyon's rim's edge and plays the correct notes on his wooden flute the heavens will open and the souls will be forever gone from the canyon. But play the wrong notes evil forces will come and take your soul. So there you are sitting on the canyon's edge with a full moon to your back, playing your flute, listening to the flute echoes, and hoping that the heavens do open and that you will not die. Many have tried and all have failed.
