Title: O My God mag is back!! Post by: magmavander on April 08, 2008, 10:08:22 PM Hi all,
a snippet done in the two last evening. Mixing different genre with a rock feel ;) Using free vst, free soundfont and buzz machines, no samples except the vocal. Hope you'll enjoy ;D bye mag Title: Re: O My God mag is back!! Post by: elwoodblues1969 on April 10, 2008, 12:13:21 AM Mag,
Very gritty & snappy snippet. >:DSome pretty trademark stuff here...very unique. 8) Thom Title: Re: O My God mag is back!! Post by: Laguna Rising on April 10, 2008, 05:52:09 PM Cool ! I like this example of Mag-style applied to rocking stuff :D
Cheers Title: Re: O My God mag is back!! Post by: MarioD on April 10, 2008, 10:54:15 PM Mag, nice!
You’re adding guitar parts to your songs now. Great! But what am I supposed to do now :D This is a keeper for sure. Very nice piece of work! Title: Re: O My God mag is back!! Post by: Oren on April 11, 2008, 08:28:18 AM Uptown rock music - very authentically executed!
Have a listen to a Toronto keyboard player, Ian Thomas. Same excellent vibe. ...and then there's always Steely Dan....classic sound, outstanding musicianship. And the Magmavander percussion technique. Everybody wins ;D Title: Re: O My God mag is back!! Post by: magmavander on April 11, 2008, 03:13:55 PM Hi thank you all ;D
MarioD : lol, you can replace my fake sounding vst by a real guitar and add some of your ideas ;) Oren, wow! Steely Dan ? I adooore this duet. One of my favorite band. Thanks a lot for the comparison!!! I'll check the Toronto guy soon. I'm going in holyday in Paris for about 8/9 days so I wont be online. Have a nice week you all. Karamoon rulezzzzzzzzzzz :; bye mag Title: Re: O My God mag is back!! Post by: MAD on April 18, 2008, 02:45:49 AM Hey Mag,
what a great vibe this tune has. Seems quite different from your other stuff as I remember it. Really liked this funky-rocky one ;D |
