Title: RESPECT album submissions Post by: Oren on January 08, 2009, 05:22:50 PM How be I create a folder on the FTP site - "Respect Album Submissions" - and each artist who has produced a song in 2008 that he/she feels is right for this project, upload it as a FLAC file or MonkeysAudio file. I'll master the whole thing to Ogg Vorbis and MP3. Then we can make it available as a download...individual songs, or an album package.

Oren, do you still have the files for 'Empires Of Dust'? That's one I'd very much like to see on the list. I'll also upload the collab I did with James 'Celtic Dreams'. Have fun and thanx for doing this for us Oren. Title: Re: RESPECT album submissions Post by: offthewall on January 09, 2009, 10:49:20 PM Just busy uploading a modified version of
Looking Back (to move on). This is the one that started out for this project as a collab, but is mainly myself plus Oren's drums and Wyatt with congas and harp as well as the final mix. The change I have made is to take out a section of the instrumental break as I felt it was too long in the original. ;) James Title: Re: RESPECT album submissions Post by: Oren on January 10, 2009, 10:08:01 AM Mario,
Thanks for "Tranquility Island"! James, "Looking Back(to move on)" is a dandy choice... If you want to upload "Colours of the Saints", cool also. As to artwork - can that be your baby? I have no clue about anything but audio... :D Just for interest sake, I'll do the whole project in Linux, incorporating the JACK audio connection kit, Ardour digital audio workstation, and JAMin mastering interface. Anything posted on Kara-Moon in 2008 is fair game. Particularly those songs with a theme involving respect, in one form or other. Shall we consider "Some Kind of Blue"? Oren, I just checked back (forgive the old-age memory lapses ::) ) to last June when we all made contest contributions for this project. General question about this. As I know nothing at all about download albums .... does this project need any kind of serial number, as for instance our 'In A Spin' album was Kara-Moon CD 0701 ? Is there any other sort of 'official' stuff to go on the brochure? Is this to be a free download or paid? ::) ;) James Title: Re: RESPECT album submissions Post by: kuguar on March 04, 2009, 08:27:55 PM James,
Once more, You and Oren did a splendid, great, monumental work with international meaning. (Even picture of wood as background at my page is a real view from my country). As to your questions, majority of members should decide this. Thanks Oleg Title: Re: RESPECT album submissions Post by: kuguar on March 05, 2009, 01:05:05 PM Dear James,
