well, hello! My first post here.
let's see -- in the 80s, I really enjoyed synths and sequencing -- lost interest a few years later, sold most of my stuff and packed the rest away. Sometime a few years ago I thought I wanted to sequence stuff again and bought Cubase VST5, but never did much with it.
Lately though I seem to be getting back into it -- one thing recently has been the discovery of the SQ8L VSTi (an Ensoniq SQ80 emulator), been digging through my old sequences, and attempting to recreate them in Cubase. Which is going to take quite a while
so, anyway, in the meantime here's something I did in the late 80s or early 90s sometime -- pardon the slight warble at the beginning, it's from a very old cassette, the warble goes away fairly quickly --

what else -- I play guitar, a little out of practice but can still more or less play it, a few other instruments that I'm so out of practice at as to have to learn anew. And I'm learning (rank beginner) keyboard.
Anyway, looking forward to sharing my little ditties and hearing what everyone else is doing -- I dunno what 'category' my stuff is, it's all over the map, I guess the piece linked above might be sort of prog-rockish, or peppy new-age, or something like that...
