I´m glad you noticed that 'vocal fx' !
There´s a funny story behind it...
I convinced my friend, Mark de Wit (the MondayLover) to buy that small Zoom digital recorder.
I was hoping he could send me this way some samples of his singer. He´s too busy with his music and band though.
Then I remembered the kOckOut plugin (to isolate the vocals out of a song).
I tried it out on a song I had with her voice on. As the developper states, the result is not perfect, but it functions !
There are 2 ways to get it done, so I did that and put 1 track 30% left and the other 30% on the right.
The flange/phase/chorus/doubling fx is the result of all this...
Just one more example of an invention based on a casuality...
I´m sure you and I would have liked a more sofisticated theory behind it...
Cheers mates,
Max... .. .
