Hi All
The title say's it all really.Started as a midi file I found on the Internet.

The instruments are from Sonar's Dimension Pro TTS1 and Native Instruments Kontakt3.

The melody is the only non midi sound, that's played on my Custom Shop Strat.

My thanks go to Skyline from PG music's forum for mixing/mastering this for me,something
that I still haven't got to grips with yet.

Thanks for listening

Alan

That "pick-up selector position 2" Strat style very competently represented by Mr. Slick, himself.  Grin

I'm a big fan of Chris Rea, and this is one of my favourites. Sounds great, Alan!

(ever notice how close that song is to Sultans of Swing?)

Very nice too.
Quite Shadows-esque. They did a lot of smooth instrumental covers like this.

Oops - it just slipped into my keep folder Grin

P.S.
Can you put mp3 tags on your files? It makes them easier to identify later!

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

Oh,  Grin it sounds like I'm back in time, when I was in a band we hang out at the cafe before and after reharsal and these were the thing we were talking about most of the time, similitude among bands, techincal issues, sounds etc..

This cover is very nice, good sound quality and fine playing.
Well done

Cheers
