Hello,

Through my vested interest in owning a Alesis Fusion in the near future,& countless hours and days researching it-it has lead me to this forum.
More specifically,it was Emptysound's "Sleeping Ships" that prompted me to join this group.
I was just thinking what a fantastic idea it is,to compile a cd of all the Fusion users in this group-as I immediately thought about how much I wanted to have Emptysound's song on cd!
My discovery of this forum makes it even more painful for me to wait until I get my hands on a Fusion.
I would also like to mention that Emptysound should consider contacting Alesis to have his/her song linked on thier website,as there are a few Fusion users that have contributed thier music to Alesis's website.

Cheers,

Elwood

Hi elwood,

ES certainly knows how to use his fusion !
It all comes down to the same principle, knowing your gear wether it is hardware or software.
I'm basicaly a hardware man myself, and my brother in arms here (Moon) is allmost 100 % software.
I looked at the fusion myself, my first idea was the korg OASYS, but it is way over my budget. Just at the moment I was more or less decided to buy the fusion, I got a proposition of a musician to buy his Nord modular G2X. I couldn't resist since I could buy it at the same price of a fushion. And I must say it is great machine.
To be honnest it is not a machine to put in everybodies hands, because it is completly modular, so you have to know how to build a synth from scratch by assembling modules.
The fushion is way more accesible with excelent presets to start your proper sounds.
It is allso a complete workstation with sequencer, multitrack recorder,....
But ES can certainly tell you more about this then I can.

And I do agree that the music of ES deserves all attention
