This is a major revision of a tune I composed in the early 1990s.

Obligatory promo blurb Tongue
A highly sensitive boy runs into the centre of the ancient stone circles and slowly becomes in tune to the mystical ambience. The spirits in turn draw on some of the boy's exuberance and become a little less oppressed by their great age.

First composed in 1993 with an Acorn Archimedes, Roland Sound Canvas and Yamaha SY22. Although the recording was lost the (not quite valid) MIDI file survived, and it was possible to use it to rebuild and develop the track further with the Yoshimi soft-synth.

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

Will, this absolutely an outstanding production.
Love all the changes and especially the changing sounds in each section.
This is your best to date IMHO.
You are a Yoshimi soft-synth master for sure.

Thanks a lot Mario. I have to juggle two hats with Yoshimi, the developer hat and the musician one. Mostly if there is a difference of opinion the musician hat wins Grin
Also, don't tell anyone, but I find just tweaking sounds great fun, and can 'waste' hours doing so Roll Eyes
